In Clifton Heights, make sure to stop by The Original Clam Tavern. This place is one of the best old-school seafood restaurants that you cannot miss. At times the menu selection might seem small, but anything you order is absolutely amazing. The crab cakes are out of this world and the lobster fra diavolo is lauded by everyone.
If your taste is a bit more simplistic, you need to hit up Jimmy John’s Pipin Hot Sandwiches in Chadds Ford. This is an old standby for many people in the area who are looking for hot dogs, onion rings, and shakes. For kids, there are some great model trains that will distract them while you grab a few more bites.
